Goodwood Racecourse Hospitality

Goodwood Racecourse wanted to upgrade their existing hospitality area and offer something different.  The brief; to design a structure to house a ground floor VIP bar with the addition of a mezzanine level which would be used as a media & press centre by TV crew on account of its prime views of the parade ring lawn. With many other high-end sponsored event structures, temporary venues and luxury marquees onsite, a key part to the brief was to ensure the finish was in keeping with the surroundings and of course the prestigious reputation of the occasion. The structure was also to feature a stretch tent roofing system which, when combined with our unique modular steel frame helped create a weatherproof solution throughout the event.

To achieve the end result we incorporated premium features such as glass balustrades, aluminium hand rails and chrome trim into our design to ensure a high quality finish inline with the brief. We opted to use one of our standard mezzanine structures which are easily assembled on any type of surface or terrain.

At the Qatar Goodwood Festival, our system provided the ideal solution for the client in terms of both function and aesthetics. Here we created a 5mx15m mezzanine level viewing platform which was positioned on a 10mx15m wooden deck.

The project has been repeated year on year with positive feedback from guests and the client.
